How You Can Help CESTA

Volunteer

CESTA depends on volunteers, which naturally means we are always looking for enthusiastic and committed people to help with our programs and projects. There is no official process to apply to be a volunteer, but there are times when we need more of one kind of volunteer than another.

In general, the areas we need help with are:
ARTIST ASSISTANCE
CONSTRUCTION & MAINTANENCE
GARDENING
ACCOUNTING
LEGAL ASSISTANCE
GRANT & FUNDING RESEARCH
LIBRARY
PRODUCTION & TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
COOKING

Experience is not necessary. Basic English is required. Ideally volunteers commit to a minimum of 32 hours per month.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us with your proposed dates and areas of interest and we will work with you to find the ideal way to fit your interest(s) and skill level(s) with our needs.

Donate

In-kind Donations

Cesta is always accepting in-kind donations, especially power tools,
audio-visual equipment and office equipment.
Here are some specific things we certainly can use.
If you'd like to make an in-kind donation that is not on this list,
please feel free to contact us, as we are probably interested.

Audio-Visual Digital Video Camera, Video Projectors, 3m x 8m screen, PA System, Audio Recording Equipment, Video Editing Equipment, Carousel Slide Projector
Tools Shop Vac, Table Saws, Welder, Concrete Mixer, Rolling Scaffolding, Electricity generator, Commercial Sewing Machine
Computer/Office B&W Copy Machine, Color Laser Printer
Accommodation Radiators, Industrial Washing Machine, Commercial Dishwasher, Adult-sized Bunkbeds, Wardrobes, Cuisinart, Food Mill
Monetary Contributions

And, of course we welcome any direct financial support. Unfortunately, international monetary contributions cannot be tax-deductible, but we have done our best to make donating easy, safe and fast. Donations can be made in most currencies.

Participate
This one's easy enough. Apply for one of our programs/projects, or invent one of your own and propose it.

Cooperate
We are always interested in sharing resources with other cultural and arts organizations through artist exchanges, coproduced events or just plain useful information sharing. Contact us and let's see how we can help each other.

Create
We are not out or able to do it all on our own. If you like what we do, why not try something similar at home?
